About me

I come from a family of artists. My father and brother were both acclaimed photographers (John and Mark Swope), and my mother a stage and screen actress (Dorothy McGuire). As a young woman I was also an actress. My career had included owning my own plant business; owning an art gallery; and owning a cat-themed retail store.

I moved to Seattle in 1991. It was here that I made a permanent home and owned and operated my own talent agency for nearly 30 years. At the end of 2022, I retired from the business and now aspire to do commissioned artwork for people who wish to remember and commemorate their pets.

Mosaics became my passion when I attended opening day of Seattle Mosaic Arts almost 16 years ago. The studio, located in Seattle’s “Tangletown”, is where I enjoy spending much of my time.
